I have authored, collaborated on, and submitted over 100 grant applications among three different organizations in the St. Louis region. In the first fiscal quarter (January – March) alone with my first grant writing job, I applied for roughly 20 opportunities and got half of those funding sources for our organization. This is just one accomplishment I am very proud of.
I have five years of experience writing and editing applications for local, state, and federal government and agency grants; private/family foundation grants; and corporate foundation and giving program grants, ranging from $500.00 USD to $3,000,000 USD. This includes narrative writing, budget narratives and justification, and needs statements.
I also have extensive experience with financial and programmatic grant reporting. Many of these grants are monthly financial report submissions, but I have also handled quarterly and annual financial and programmatic reporting for private/family foundations and corporate foundations/giving programs. This includes categorizing expenses and creating grant-specific projects in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
